CAPS and M-SAA

Ontario's LHINs are required under the Local Health Services Integration Act, 2006, to negotiate service accountability agreements with the health service providers they fund.

In 2008-09 Central LHIN successfully worked with our health service providers in the community sector to complete their Community Annual Planning (CAPS), which resulted in signed 2009-11 Multi-Sector Accountability Agreements (M-SAAs) with our community sector health service provider partners.

This sector includes Community Support Services, Community Care Access Centres, Mental Health and Addiction Services and Community Health Centres.
