LHIN Guide to Good Governance

The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has released the LHIN Guide to Good Governance, a resource developed by the Ministry for use by all LHIN Board members and stakeholders to provide guidance based on leading practices.

The Local Health Integration Network/Health Service Provider Resource and Toolkit for Voluntary Integration Initiatives – developed in 2008 by Central LHIN in partnership with four other LHINs – was included as an appendix to the guide. This toolkit supports health service provider boards in developing strategies to work with one another and the LHIN on voluntary integration initiatives.
