Board of Directors Meetings
Ontario is improving the health care system to give patients better connected care, focused on their needs. As of March 8, the Board of Directors for Ontario Health will also constitute the boards that oversee the Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs), Cancer Care Ontario, eHealth Ontario, HealthForceOntario, Health Shared Services Ontario, Health Quality Ontario and Trillium Gift of Life Network. You will continue to have access to the care you need and the health care providers you have built relationships with. Home care continues as before and there are no changes to long-term care home placement. Our patient services and contacts will remain unchanged until further notice.

Public Delegations at the Central LHIN Board of Directors Meetings
Engaging with stakeholders is key to the Central LHIN. The Central LHIN takes the opportunity to engage with members of the public and stakeholders in a variety of forums.
The public is welcome to join and meet the Central LHIN Board of Directors at each of its open board meetings and education sessions. Following the open portion of each Board meeting, 20 minutes is allocated for the public, Health Service Providers, and stakeholders to meet with members of the Board- this is an informal session.
To enable a consistent and transparent approach to manage requests for public delegations at the Central LHIN Board of Directors meetings during the open session, a policy was developed and approved by the Board of Directors. The Public Delegations at Central LHIN Board Meetings Policy and Application form outlines the process for members of the public requesting a delegation to the Board.
